Take a photo, check the details and create a pink Excel Receipt Book—with the actual receipt picture inside.
Works in Safari and Chrome. This first beta handles one receipt per workbook, in English. It is separate from the iPhone app and does not sync with its Vault.
1. Choose your receipt
Keep the whole receipt flat, well lit and in focus. Choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP photo (up to 15 MB). If a HEIC photo cannot open, select a JPEG or screenshot instead.
No photo selected. Nothing is uploaded.
The OCR engine downloads from this site on first use. Recognition runs on your device. A scan can take a minute or more; you can cancel and enter details manually.
2. Review your receipt
OCR can miss words or pair prices incorrectly. Check every amount against the picture. Blank means unknown, not zero. No merchant, date or currency is considered verified automatically.
3. Create your Receipt Book
The workbook contains this receipt’s reviewed details, line items and embedded picture. It is not encrypted. The full picture can expose every purchase, address, card detail and handwritten note visible in it.
On iPhone, open Downloads or use Share → Save to Files. Choose iCloud Drive or another off-device location for phone-loss protection. Reopen the file and check the Receipt Picture tab. A download click does not confirm that a file was saved.
A little privacy clarity
Your receipt, extracted text and edits stay in this tab’s memory. Nothing is saved to a Piggy account or uploaded for OCR. Clearing, closing or reloading the page loses your work. We do not add a browser Vault or cloud backup in this beta.
Export before leaving. Photos and data are shared only when you choose a destination using your browser. The hosting provider still receives ordinary page and engine-download requests.
Add Piggy to your iPhone Home Screen
In Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. In Chrome, tap Share beside the address bar, then Add to Home Screen. An internet connection is required to load this beta and its OCR resources. Browser and Home Screen sessions do not sync.
